These are the work of graphic designers through SCAD Media, which has put together a visual connection that aligns with and elevates the vision. The SCAD Team took the time to "get us" and our vision and then elevated it with their team of graphic designers and business and technology smart management team. In the 10+ requests we have made to SCAD since we went live, we always get rapid responses, insightful questions asking us to push ourselves farther on behalf of someone you love: a person who wants to get a better option for treatment. Alex and his team made sure that this was truly a memorable experience. The award was a movie-quality project produced by them for an award from my employer. I am impressed with the way they captured the ongoing research in my group. Although quantum computing is an esoteric field, they asked creative questions to connect all the dots and make it understandable for the general audience. We’ve worked with Alex and his crew at SCAD Media for many years, and partnering with them on these events has been a game-changer—dare I say, an event saver. The first time we really leaned into their expertise was in October 2020 for an exclusively online event. SCAD Media produced polished videos showcasing several inventions of the year and seamlessly live-streamed my boss and his boss as they emceed the virtual event, skillfully interweaving the prerecorded content. The result was a flawless, professional production. For the next two years, we hosted hybrid events, but over the last two years, we've gone fully live. (Most guests preferred attending in person, where they could taste the meatballs and spring rolls, not just see them!) This event is no small undertaking—it spans three floors of a 100,000 sq. ft. building plus an outdoor patio, and includes networking and creative use of the space. SCAD Media continues to be essential, handling AV, shooting photos, and creating assets like banners, signs, slideshows, and more. We also still rely on their high-quality prerecorded videos, which seamlessly enhance the live event. Just a week after that annual event, we hosted a startup pitching event in Miami—six hours from Gainesville. Once again, Alex and his team were indispensable, guiding us through the planning details and executing flawlessly on site. They designed the logo, banners, step-and-repeat screen, and nametags. At the event, SCAD Media ran AV, shot video, and captured stunning photography. I genuinely can’t imagine how we would have pulled it off without them. Not to mention, their quotes are always the most competitive, providing exceptional value. At this point, I consider Alex and his team an extension of our own. We trust them not only for execution but also for post-event feedback and advice on how to improve future events. Alex truly knows his stuff—he’s always upping his game, investing in better equipment, and experimenting with new techniques to make us look our best. I can hand over the details with complete confidence, knowing that he’ll make the magic happen. SCAD Media produced three ~3 minute-long Tech Tuesday spots highlighting innovations emerging from my lab and my engineering capstone senior design course at the University of Florida. These segments aired on the evening news simultaneously with being posted online. The team brought the video crew to my lab and professionally managed staging, scripting, and filming all three segments in one afternoon, which was very impressive. Alex provided direction that helped us focus the short interviews on essential details the audience would be excited about. The first segment was edited and ran only a few days after the shoot. These media spots gave my lab and class a huge pop on social media and attracted the attention of print media organizations, which ran longer follow-up stories building off the short spots created. The PRgenerated around my work was loud. Working with SCAD Media was a great experience. They are very efficient and professional, and also adaptable, comfortable rolling with the punches and changing the plan to suit circumstances. When we set the appointment, the original plan was to film a single spot, but they realized there were other newsworthy activities ongoing in the lab and quickly reorganized and expanded the session into three unique shoots to fully capture and capitalize on everything we were doing. I highly recommend SCAD Media, for all video production projects. I've been working with SCAD for almost a year now, and I'm somewhat consistent in their outstanding service. Their team of graphic designers is fantastic, with an incredible ability to turn abstract ideas into visually stunning designs. What sets them apart from other firms in Gainesville is their willingness to go beyond the scope of work whenever requested. They always put in extra effort to make sure our needs are not just met but exceeded.
