1st Choice Movers Reviews 1st Choice Movers Feedback Analysis 1. Absolutely no stars. I would've done that if I could. I cannot believe they have such a high rating. First off, the lack of professionalism is insane. The lack of care for things that people are paying you money to move, the immaturity of a company to ignore instead of making things right is astonishing and terrible to see. Do not hire these people if you want a professional, caring, and respectful company to handle your stuff moving it.2. My wife and I hired this company to move our one-bedroom apartment on Saturday, and the whole experience was unbelievably frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. What should have been a relatively easy move that we’ve done many times before with multiple moving companies took almost 8 hours for a one-bedroom apartment. That’s insane. I’ve hired multiple moving companies in the past and I've never once had a bad experience, but this was by **far** the worst and most unprofessional moving company i have ever dealt with. They not only took an insane amount of time to pack our one bedroom apartment (you pay by the hour), but they also broke two of our items -- one being a $300 Samsung smart fan. After paying nearly two thousand dollars, I expected professionalism and care, neither of which we received by any means. When I returned to our old apartment on Sunday, I saw miscellaneous items all over the room that the movers chose not to pack but should have, at least in my opinion -- blankets, lotions, an iron, steamer, vacuum, scent beads, plasticware, paper towels, and MULTIPLE other ordinary household items. Additionally, they were supposed to remove both TV wall mounts, but they only removed one. So, I had to spend two hours at my old apartment when I was trying to be in a hurry so that my landlord wasn't unhappy. And when I asked them to come back, they said they charge by the hour, which is completely crazy. Then they didn't charge me, but, by the time they got here, I had already spent two hours picking up the mess they left. It was completely unprofessional and such a burden on a day that was supposed to be stress-free. And when I told them that I was unhappy and asked for resolution, they ignored me for days -- leaving me hanging until I finally went to twitter, and then they gave me a response -- just to end up ignoring me there too. Moreover, I had somebody scheduled to come mount our TVs on Sunday -- the person who made me take the mount off tried to appease me by saying they'd remove the entire mount getting all the wires off which was on the wall. That's not what I asked for, and also -- they've never come back to even do that. So not only did they not fulfill the promises that were made, but they also charged me two hours extra because they took **so** long. They wasted two hours of my time trying to pick up the stuff they left and then tell me they charge by the hour -- that's pretty ridiculous. I asked three different times for them to come back and help pick up the stuff that was left, and they ignored my requests each time -- they were never filled. Even my landlord said it was a mess -- you would expect one or two things but MULTIPLE things i should have left here that I left when i moved in -- I should have had them there!
