Florida Beacon Clg & Seminary

Founded by Dr. Charles M. Leaming, Florida Beacon College and Seminary started teaching Bible Truths in 1947. The target audience consisted of students that yearned to become Pastors, Missionaries, and Bible Teachers. The school, known as St. Petersburg Bible Institute, was located in St. Petersburg, Florida, before moving to Largo, Florida, to address the growing population of students. The school was renamed Florida Beacon College & Seminary. Despite the change in location, the school still believes in Conservative Full Gospel and a non-denominational setting in the Bible. Florida Beacon College & Seminary is located in Jacksonville, Florida. The school’s foundation is the Bible, and its Vice-President is Dr. Charles M. Leaming, appointed in 1980.
