Interior Fusion

Interior Fusion was cofounded by Richard Fendley, a retired U.S. Master Sergeant. The company was founded in Largo in 2008, with the idea of "fusing" design and retail to create an office furniture company. The company started with the primary goal of making an office furniture company that offer a simple, yet fun way for people to work together. This would help to create an environment to encourage creativity, imagination, and collaboration. Richard started in furniture manufacturing. He worked for CORT, where he sold rental contracts within government agencies. Rich observed the program was successful and thought it would be nice to rent instead of renting. Interior Fusion sold almost exclusively to government agencies in the first few years of its inception. Interior Fusion was able to expand its capabilities and work with the education sector, as well as healthcare and commercial sectors, a few years later. As there were more employees and designers, I was able to make the most of each member of my team's strengths. Many are good with clients commercial, while others are excellent with government contracts. Rich Fendley says, "I want to coach my men so that they can go out and take care of the clients."
