In 2025 we hired Green Construction to tear down and rebuild our 2nd floor 30+ year old deck and the beams that supported the structure. (The construction of the deck started on 8/27/25 thru 1/5/26.) we encountered an issue on 4/6/26 when it rained very hard causing water to leak into my house underneath the deck (which never happened before) and on the lani (there was no water). We took photos/videos and contacted Green Construction. They immediately came to the home and inspected. Unfortunately, we learned that the top layering of the deck would need to be removed to gain access to what was causing the leak. This post is for what happened AFTER the leak. They sent a new project manager (Adam) and his assistant Caleb to evaluate the leak and install a gutter Inside the home, Caleb and then Adam saw how the deck was assembled and were both very dissatisfied with the work. They immediately called in the old assistant (who was brought by Adam) and he pointed out many issues with the deck. Adam and Caleb did a great job fixing the really horrible work that was done before and am aware now we had no gutters on the deck (which they installed). The entire project took about 3 weeks - not months...
