Reliable Rosa and Carlos started collecting at home and opened the house by appointment only. She created the Moore Space in 2001 and was its chair from 2007 to 2007. Located in New York's Design District, the Moore Space is a non-profit Kunsthalle. Find out more about Moore Space. The de la Cruz Collection is planned by Rosa and Carlos, now a 30,000-square-foot museum on 41st Street. In 2009, the museum was opened to the public. Additionally, the Collection offers educational trips to Europe and lectures for students of the New World School of the Arts. It hosts summer workshops for children in grades 1 to 6 in the same school year. The de la Cruz Collection is a museum funded by a private donation. Government funds do not support it.
