Located off of Sunset Drive and Kendall Drive, on Southwest 87th Avenue, Galloway Farm Nursery is a local family enterprise. Galloway Farm Nursery Inc. was established almost 40 years ago by Jim Lawrence and Patricia Kyle, a young couple. The neighborhood enterprise was born when the couple decided to pursue their dream of adding to South Florida's community the color of plentiful flora and fauna. The farm is a favorite location for plant lovers from the Keys and Palm Beach. Moreover, its aesthetically pleasing plants attract seasonal guests from distant places who come to the farm to see beautiful butterflies fluttering around them.

I used to love this place as a child. As an adult I spend almost 1k a month, but I will NEVER go back. It’s always made me uncomfortable the way Pat the owner treats the staff and some customers. I will never give her a penny more. She berates them, loses her temper, condescends them. Quite frankly it is verbal abuse. Im ashamed I’ve provided so much business to a company thats always been overpriced and provides harbor to this woman.
I wasn’t going to write a negative review, but I’m still so disturbed that I feel it necessary. If there is a place to report this to lmk. It’s not a bad day here or there- it’s an unsafe environment for her staff.
