Achilles Art Cafe (Wilshire) is a colorful, artistically decorated European-themed cafe. The café has a wide range of beverages including coffee/tea, smoothies, food, wines, sodas of all kinds, beer, hookah, beer, wine, and specialty drinks. Achilles Art Cafe (Wilshire) opened on August 8, 2008. Achilles (or "Ash," if you wish) was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. He came to Florida with only $30 in 1999. His dream was to have a coffeeshop near his house in MetroWest. Ash launched a second Achilles shop on April 1, 2021. JEM, a new Achilles owner, took over his original Achilles shop. JEM has been a customer of Achilles since she was in college at Valencia College. One day, JEM told Ash, "Ash, did you know that this coffee shop was the reason I dreamed this dream?" Ash then said, "Well then, buy it!" The rest is history. Ash has put a lot of effort and thought into his shop. We are proud to have the finished result. The place's eclectic and cozy European feel is evident, and most of the artwork & paintings on the wall are local artists' works available for purchase. It's not a commission, we just love it! We invite you to come in and enjoy an exceptional experience. From the atmosphere to the coffee to the sandwiches, beer and sandwich combinations, we hope you'll come back.
