Central Christian University

In Orlando, FL, Pastor Juan Carlos Amesty, the church's pastor, encouraged the congregation to establish a university where students could be taught the Bible and Christianity in an academic environment to enable them to "go out into all walks of the life to make a difference in this world for God." This marked the beginning of the Central Christian University. Students and faculty during the founding years felt a genuine call to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others in their fields of study. By 2007, the college was located in ten locations worldwide. It had added more programs and had become more famous in the mainstream culture and academia. CCU was also the first to establish an education institution in countries where no Christian institution has done so. The university first launched in La Paz (Bolivia) and later in Port au Prince (Haiti). Central Christian University is a Christian university that offers both baccalaureate and graduate education programs online or in-class. The university offers a biblically-based education as revealed by the Holy Scriptures. CCU is an institution that aims to produce professionals who have extraordinary educational capabilities and biblical knowledge to help them work in the area they choose. It also tries to impact communities and governments with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
