I graduated in 1995 from Florida State University College of Law, where I was an active Law Review member and a judicial extern for the former Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. I earned my Juris Doctor with Honors in 1998. I began my legal career at a state-based law firm as an associate and performed corporate and transactional work at an international firm. I later became in-house staff counsel for a Fortune 500 corporate legal department. I served as corporate counsel for the company. I would later serve as a state prosecutor in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida, trying cases in Orange County and Osceola County. I formed DeVoe Law Firm to provide quality criminal defense and family law representation in Orlando and Altamonte Springs. I have served on the Executive Committee of the Orange County Bar Association's Family Law Section, the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court, and the Orange County Bar Association's Family Law Section and Criminal Law Section. I also volunteer for Orange County Teen Court and am a guest lecturer at an Orlando university.
