Following law school and passing the Florida bar exam, Aruna accepted a position as an insurance defense attorney representing claimants in auto and first-party property defense cases. She naturally gravitated towards a career dedicated to people rather than the strong. A few short years of defense work convinced her that her calling was to aid those who were on the wrong end of the insurance dispute. Aruna earned her bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2011 and her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2016.
