Dr. Salazar and April were newlyweds when Dr. Salazar announced the news: "it is time to start your own practice." April was able to run the business and Dr. Salazar could practice high-quality veterinary medicine. They had a vision in their hearts but no idea what they were doing. So they started looking for hospitals to buy. After three years of searching and visiting hospitals, they seemed unable to find the perfect fit. Dr. Salazar decided he would just start his own practice. He had this idea many times throughout the previous three years. Why not build a new hospital from the ground up? That's what Salazar set out to accomplish. Blue Heron Consulting Group teamed up with Dr. Salazar in December 2018. We filed an application for a loan and officially registered Salazar Veterinary Hospital. Then the war started - where would the hospital be located. After months of searching, we found the perfect community for the hospital. Next came the leasing agreement, selecting a contractor, and finally, applying for the permit. Construction on Salazar Veterinary Hospital started in November 2019, almost a year after the long process. Our Orlando office was officially opened on March 11, 2020.
