As a Florida native, I was raised by Cuban parents who left Cuba to seek freedom and opportunities in the United States. Their brave, optimistic, hardworking, and resilient nature serves as inspiration to me daily. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Economics. I then proceeded to Emory University School of Law on a scholarship. My exposure to civil trials came during my time in Emory. My intentions were to pursue business law, but an internship at a trial law firm and instructions in mock trials changed my practice area. I observed that trial law was a unique kind of storytelling that can help people. For the first time, I grasped the power of trial law to heal, and it connected with what I had always wanted. My goal is to advocate for individuals wrongly harmed in the United States civil justice system. I use advocacy groups like the American Association for Justice, the Birth Trauma Litigation Group, the Florida Justice Association, and the Central Florida Trial Lawyer’s Association. I have assisted hundreds of clients with my practice in various ways over the years. Sometimes, a client needs answers when they lose a loved one, and I assist with that. If possible, I negotiate with the liable party and ensure you receive proper compensation. If we cannot reach an agreement, we go to trial, and I support my client till the jury delivers its verdict.
