Client Review Compilation: Our team at North Florida Orthodontic Specialist is very friendly, and the only place I’ve been where ALL staff members are genuinely so nice, Along with Dr.Barry is. DO NOT USE THIS ORTHODONTIST!!!! They are extremely deceptive with billing! My son lost his retainer and they purposefully scheduled out his appointment 3 weeks out. His teeth shifted and now they are trying to charge me for braces again! They claimed when I made the appointment that they do not save any records of his teeth, so they couldn’t issue a retainer immediately. The office manager has an attitude, especially if you’ve paid in full! It seems like she receives a bonus if you’re using their payment plan. The staff doesn’t care at all!!!! Total waste of money! I came to have my braces, and Dr. Barry, Mrs. Amanda, Mrs. Le Pria, and the rest of the staff were very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anybody who needs to see an orthodontist in North Florida. Excellent and personal service! Staff are wonderful and friendly and hospitable. 10/101 I’m not sure what is going on in this office but everything has changed. I asked in the beginning what charges and fees because I put the charges on my care credit for no interest. After my daughters 4th bracket breaks they decide to tell me there is a fee and try to get me to sign something. I told the representative after the first one broke I should have been informed. Actually I should have been informed during finance. I am very unhappy with this place and have three more kids I was going to take but not now. I will find one in my town instead of 45 min away. I call to complain and the rep tells me was I told about the 35 fee for canceling appointments. I have not canceled any appointments they have and I never got upset. I’m not sure what happen but there is all new people and the other reps were way more compassionate and real. You could tell they all didn’t want to be bothered. And unfortunately was there favorite word. Well unfortunately you just lost 3 more kids because you are not up front with your customers and you do not care. I must say that this establishment really does care about their patients as well as their smiles. While I got my braces removed an assistant assisted with my infant son. I was treated with respect and handled with care. I love my smile and I recommend Dr. Barry for any orthodontic work that one may need..
