Buying a Car from Avis Car Sales Tampa, FL. was the worst car buying experience I ever have. They took the money, but they have not submitted any paperwork (registration and title) to the DMV on my behalf. I have been in communication with them via phone and email for 2 month and they still did not submit any paperwork so I cannot do anything with that car.
Stay away from AVIS to avoid the headaches I went through.
