My passion for moving services was piqued after a series of terrible moves. During our first family move, my spouse was a competent mover and managed a marketing team. We decided to hire the moving company where he worked. Our first move-out experience was terrible. The movers behaved unprofessionally, moved at snail’s pace, and damaged many things. I learned quickly that not all movers and companies are the same. We opted to do our second move. Several family members came to help, but they were also grateful. They were all tired and sore from the work. I did not want to experience it again. Third time is not the charm. We looked for a reputable and affordable moving company and did some research. On the surface, the company seemed nice. However, on receiving the bill, I was taken aback. The bill was filled with surprises. However, they were not all bad. It contained hidden fees and extra charges. Our actual bill was more than twice the quoted amount. I was bewildered by the company’s behavior of deceiving customers for profit. After the grueling move, we established First Choice Moving and Storage, committed to improving moving experiences.
