Future Flipz

When she was eight years old, Stacy began her competitive gymnastics career at Future Flipz of Gymnastics. She was a national-ranked gymnast in Class I/Level 10 and placed at the 1990 Junior Olympic Games. In 1991 and 1992, she was an NCA All-American cheerleader. She also participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. In 1991, she competed in Nationals as a member of the Tampa LaFleur All-Star Cheerleading Squad. Dunedin High School Class of 1992 is when she graduated. She spent two and a quarter years at St. Petersburg College, with a focus on Business courses, starting gymnastics in 1992. Stacy’s coaching career started with Mr. Stowe, Tampa, and then moved to Apollo. She taught competitive team levels 5 and 6, preschool classes, as well as being the progressive team manager. She built and coached the Future Flipz programs until they were self-sustained. Stacy is an American Gymnastics professional member and a USA Gymnastics Skill Evaluationator. Stacy’s certifications include SAFE SPORT: Preventing Misconduct; U101: Safety & Risk management, U100, Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction, and USA Gymnastics University Instructor. Stacy has expanded her knowledge in gymnastics to include diving. She is USA DIVING certified and holds certificates in Concussion Prevention, Coaching Diving, Sudden Cardiac arrest, and Concussion In Sports. She is a level 2 volunteer as the Dunedin High School Diving Coach. She was the 2020 District Champion (Brooklyn & Dean), 2 State Qualifiers, (Brooklyn & Dean) and one State Finalist (Brooklyn - 18th). Stacy had 2 District & Regional Champions in 2021 (Brooklyn & Dean), three State Qualifiers, Brooklyn, Dean and Bodie as 2 State Finalists, Brooklyn-10th and Dean-15th. Stacy was a District Champion in 2022 (Brooklyn & Bodie), a Regional Champion (Bodie) as well as 2 State Qualifiers (Brooklyn & Bodie). Stacy is grateful for all her years of expertise and knowledge and welcomes any new challenges.
