Weight of the world getting you down? Spark is the revolutionary orthodontic treatment that employs a series of clear aligners to straighten the teeth as opposed to wires and metal brackets. The aligners are made of plastic and are custom-fitted to help move teeth gradually to their final position. At each level of treatment, the aligner is calibrated and produced so that it fits you perfectly. Dr. Mann uses the most sophisticated technology available to create your aligners. To capture a 3D image of your teeth, Dr. Mann uses the Itero 3D Imaging System.
The patient's age and aesthetic preferences determine the type of braces. Metal braces tend to be visually visible, while ceramic braces are clear and less apparent. Ceramic braces are used more frequently for teenagers who are older or adults who are concerned about appearance. Ceramic braces are big and brittle, requiring more dental hygiene to maintain healthy teeth. As a result, ceramic braces are usually placed on the front teeth.
