Mergeculture The idea for Mergeculture emerged in 1996 when the gallery's director was in high school. The idea was originally conceived as exploratory writings on counterculture and subculture's impact. This idea evolved, and the director wrote papers on subcultures, countercultures' collaboration, and the impact of shared ground on social identity. Mergeculture was chosen by the director as the title of these writings since the human experience must depend on different and shared ground. The director explored the origins of subcultures and countercultures. The director is interested in people rallying around subcultural ideas and counterculture. The director’s early surroundings consisted of custom cars, freight trains, graffiti, hip-hop, skateboarding, and music production. This environment gave the director a broad perspective on the interconnectedness and importance of art. Arts are the base of almost every interaction in this material plane. Director began to write about individual expression, competition, and social identification, leading to evolutionary studies. These papers have covered the study of hieroglyphics, the evolution of humanity, the origins all known written languages, their first hieroglyphs, and the invention of cuneiform.
