Customer Statement: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I recently received at Auto Repair Pros.
Issue no. 1, communication, and setting of expectations. It took over 16 hours to receive an estimated completion time, and this information was only provided after I insisted on an answer. Furthermore, several of my requests for a callback were ignored.
Issue no. 2, billing and services performed.
Labor Charges: I was charged for both the removal and replacement of the alternator. However, I had already removed the old unit; the shop only performed the installation.
Hidden Fees: While I was told the towing was complimentary, the total repair cost suggests the tow charge may have been padded into the final bill.
Warranty Discrepancies: I was informed the part is only guaranteed for two years, despite your door advertisement stating a five-year warranty.
Unnecessary Diagnostics: There were attempts to suggest additional mechanical issues because a diagnostic test wasn't performed. As I personally handled the alternator removal, I am confident no other issues existed.
I decided to return to your business because of your previous apology regarding a situation with Louis, but this experience has resulted in a loss of confidence in your company's ability to provide effective and transparent service.
