Thank you for your response. In your feedback, I aim to correct a multitude of inaccuracies. My comments and my account have been misrepresented.
I did not flee as per the initial commenter, and this is evident in my first review. I commented on the layout of the room, the type of dog, and where each employee was placed when I entered. It would have been impossible for me to see all of that information if I had turned around and left immediately, as you proposed. This goes to show that you are trying to rewrite the events that happened and downplaying the dismissal I felt at that time.
This review is my personal account of what happened, and the five‑star reviews are other peoples’ accounts. Both can be true. However, using other customers’ experiences to gaslight me and invalidate how I felt and comparing them to your experiences, rather than admitting there may have been a lapse in professionalism, is deeply concerning.
I walked into your store with genuine intentions and the desire to support local businesses, but I walked out feeling unattended to, unwelcomed, and now the feelings of humiliation and discrimination that were brought up in public. This response only serves to confirm my sense of humiliation and discrimination.
This is for the clarity of all those reading this.
My husband and I selected Song Printing and Design, a small local company, over large corporations for our business card, flyer, and shirt printing requirement. However, we were completely ignored by the two staff members present. I have nothing to say about the dog. The woman was near the window and the man was never innerside the room, no one glanced at us or raised their heads during our ingress and egress. They even didn’t blink, yet the dog acknowledged our presence. This was a total act of racial discrimination and corporate brutalism to us. We felt targeted and this public humiliation was immeasurable. This act is an indication from the company that we aren't welcomed, an intolerable, unjustified, and discriminatory approach.
As an interracial couple, we felt so much targeted, and this disregarding attitude was very discriminating. This was a humiliating experience. If the company cannot appreciate the presence of a customer, then it serves as a signal that such a client is unwanted (AoC, 2019). It is even more pathetic to note how the company reacted by publicly disqualifying, discrediting, and demeaning a customer. Our family will have to seek such services elsewhere. I can strongly advise other families of different races or groups to be cautious about this shop, as it violates human relations. Incident date: 3/16/25 approximately 3:00pm EST

My review is not a fun thing in general….i also like the small president they have .nicde touch…the only thing i have done is ask for a refund and it was promptly given……. so do not feel too sorry for me.
