I've been a patient of Dr. Jarvis of Old Milton Dental since 2019 when I moved to the area. I think she's an excellent dentist and am always comfortable with the practice. And the dental work I've had done over the years has been excellent. However, I moved to Florida in late 2024 and ended up going to some truly horrifying dentists. They each said I had multiple problems and needed a lot of work done. I was not comfortable with the advice I was being given - so I recently visited Georgia and was able to have a consultation with Dr. Jarvis of Old Milton Dental. She evaluated the problems the Florida dentists had pointed out to me and stated that the bulk of what I had been told in Florida was untrue. This dental practice will provide the guidance I needed.Compared to this detailed, thought-provoking and powerful dental care in Old Milton Dental, the other dental care is inadequate. writel am writing this review after my second-ever appointment at this practice, which was incredible. Dr. Jarvis was very nice, supportive, and an excellent dentist, and my dental hygienist, Martie, was outstanding at cleaning and was also very gentle. I had a previous dentist who I went to, and when I left, my mouth felt like it had been rinsed with acid. I don't experience any pain due to this extreme cleaning method of the past when I leave here. Martie is also very empathetic and has a beautiful demeanor which is calming. It's worth the drive from Atlanta to Milton for this dental practice. My experience in this clinic is always wonderful. Today, I realized that it was no different from old times. Every staff member I met was extra attentive and caring, which I always appreciate. I walked in and the receptionist already knew who I was and confirmed everything immediately. The x-ray tech was patient with me and handled the process with care. Hanna came and did a wonderful job cleaning and polishing my teeth. Dr. Reid came in and did her usual charming self. She always comes up with new tricks and tells me how well I'm doing with my teeth. This makes me proud because I work hard to keep my teeth good. The facility has now realized that I don't use fluoride anymore and now includes fluoride-free products in my travel hygiene swag bag! Five stars all the way around!Dr. Jarvis and Jocelyn, her assistant, are the nicest dentists. They were so nice and listened to my situation and concerns, and later on gave me real solutions. I've seen other dentists in this state, but this organization has the best improvement array and genuine human warmth. Highly recommended.
