Reliable Color Wheel After School Art fosters creativity and free-thinking individuals in its mission. Our goal is to provide quality, safe art-based programs that nurture the whole child. Color Wheel promotes self-discovery and self-esteem through the arts. We understand that children through the arts can achieve a sense self-empowerment that is essential to learning in every area academic, social, and beyond. Exploring one's creative potential in different mediums encourages curiosity, creativity and independent thinking. Children thrive when they have choices, are able to make their own decisions and take responsibility for their actions. We need a supportive network of parents, peers, and mentors. In the school's environment of creativity, fun and friendship, it is possible to be both teachers and friends with our children. Many of us have the opportunity to collaborate with artists for a large part of our children's childhood. These collaborations are key to what we teach these kids. It also reflects how we interact with the studio community, treat our fellow artists and present the creative process. Teaching needs to mirror how we interact as Creatives with one another and the wider, larger human community. Color Wheel is a community of Creatives and Humanities. We assume that Color Wheel parents chose Color Wheel because they see that there are shared values. Therefore, it is our duty to instill these values into every action so the children can be good citizens in society.
Color Wheel is frequently praised in many of the evaluations. They have developed a positive reputation for being an excellent educational choice for children. Numerous observers made note of the welcoming and exceptionally inventive setting as well as the helpful and inviting personnel. Both teachers exhibit professionalism and competence, and the studio constantly expands student abilities using a mixture of mediums. The summer and break camp provide children with a great outlet for their creativity as well as other services such as after care. The place fosters a discover of identity and self-expression for kids. Extracurricular Tutoring for children is of a high standard and creates a fun educational environment. The arts and crafts studio and event space provide a special artistic experience. However, one instructor was great, while the other was accused of racial bias and favoritism. I did not experience any discrimination or preferential treatment. My overall assessment of this art studio for children is positive, so I would recommend it to any parents searching for a creative outlet for their children.
