Feedback Summary Horrific! I wish I could give 0 stars. Your firm is a joke! The money I paid (about 20k) was wasted. I have had businesses and lawyers in 3 different states. This is the first time I’ve had to file a complaint to the bar. I reached out to them to stop a competitor from ripping off our design. They pitched me this big elaborate plan where Yuri would handle one end and Zach would handle the other and blah blah blah. I took the bait. As far as professionalism goes- Zach couldn’t even change out of his t shirt for our zoom meetings and for some reason Yuri quit trademark law all together without even telling me! I still don’t know if he was disbarred or went to rehab or what but it was very odd for such a young lawyer to just stop practicing unannounced and even more odd for me to find out by asking why he had missed another deadline. They kept missing deadlines and screwed this job up so bad they actually offered me a partial refund. That’s how you know they know they screwed up. I put a complaint into the bar and still weighing my options but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you dismiss the other bad reviews here UPDATE: The firm’s response below is a perfect example of the communication issues I experienced. Rather than addressing the specific facts of my case, they attempted to deflect by suggesting I have the wrong firm. To be clear: This review is absolutely for Founders Legal | Bekiares Eliezer LLP (Corporate/IP). My experience with your specific team and billing practices is exactly as described. I hired this firm expecting consistent and professional representation, but my experience was very frustrating. My original attorney was no longer handling my case, and I was not informed in a clear or timely way about the transition. My case was then passed between multiple attorneys over a relatively short period of time. Each change required me to re-explain my situation, which created delays and inefficiencies. Throughout this process, I continued to be billed hourly. What was most concerning was the lack of communication around these changes. I only received a clear explanation of what had been happening after I expressed that I was considering ending representation. While I understand that staffing changes happen in any firm, clients should be kept informed so they can make decisions with full transparency, especially when billing is ongoing. Overall, the lack of continuity and communication made an already stressful legal matter more difficult than it needed to be. At one point, another attorney called to discuss my case, but my impression was that the focus was more on running through time on the retainer rather than providing clear strategy, progress, or direction. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience. Thanks Kennington for all that you did to keep my trademark application moving forward to publishing for registration. You represented me well throughout the process and I appreciate it! I will definitely utilize your services for future needs as well as highly recommend Founders to others who are in need of the services offered by your firm.
