We paid cash up-front to Global Solar Energy for a 21kw solar + battery system, then GSE ghosted us. The paid-for batteries and inverter were never delivered and the installation never finished. They took the money, and left wires and racks hanging unfinished on our roof. Strongly recommend never do…

This calculator sizes a solar system from your electricity use. Your monthly bill, divided by the average Georgia electricity price, gives your yearly use; Georgia's sunshine (1,420 kWh per kW of panels a year) then gives the system size that covers it, adjusted for roof direction and shade. The installed price is that size multiplied by the price per watt homeowners in Georgia pay installers. Payback compares that price with what the panels save at Georgia power prices, assuming prices rise 3% a year.
An estimate, not a quote. Roof size and pitch, shading, equipment, permits and the installer all change the final price; installers confirm it after a site visit.
