About this business
Customer Feedback Highlights
Poor review. Company needs to take accountability. Bear Mountain had an off-site spray booth; the most critical factor as I didn't want to use my garage. Pricing and PM all looked pretty competitive with other companies.
The job ran over. Communication was only given day of and caused us to suddenly be out of a place to stay for us and our animals. When I arrived the next day to do a walk through of the "completed job", painters were still painting. Both house entrances and all "touchable" surfaces (including railings for stairs and stair headers) were still wet, and we had to find alternate arrangements a second night. I had already got a BnB for 5 full days and planned the project 3 weeks in advance with them so we could avoid this. They chose not to show up one day, and it was not because of weather (which was stated as an acceptable reason in the contract).
All this aside, when I got in the house the closets were painted the wrong color. Not having any more time to offer this project, I simply asked for the cost to be refunded. They argued it, and insisted they come repaint it. I told them I simply did not have time to be in project mode any longer, and would do it another time. They (the PM) then tried to tell me they "actually" charged differently for the closet painting, and would only refund me $100. This was a blatant lie, and I called them out on this. The PM insisted he had told me something else, and that he had "given me a really good deal." This whole mis color would have been a non issue, but now I felt like I was being manipulated. I simply told them I would not settle for anything less than refunding me the change order for the total amount and not to call me anymore with anything other than an invoice with that removed.
