I was in a motorcycle accident in 2017. I hired this guy to represent me. While I was still being treated for conditions due to the accident, I received an offer to settle. I rejected the offer and instructed him to wait until I finished treatment before discussing settlements. He then quit on me in 2018 and left me to fend for myself with the insurance company. 3 years later... The insurance company is trying to settle but this guy decided to put a lien on my claim after quitting. I have to fight it in court where the judges are basically lawyers in black robes. Sounds fun huh?
