Chicago Volunteer Legal Services

More than 2,100 volunteer lawyers provide free legal services each year to low-income Chicagoans at CVLS. Our services are free, so anyone can access them. We want to make sure that all of Chicago's resources are connected, even if they are not CVLS services. Our whole small staff trains thousands of volunteers from over 990 companies and other organizations. Our volunteers are our most significant asset. We organize, train, and support them to deliver the best possible effect at the lowest cost.
