About this business

The idea for See Spot Run was developed in 2000 to meet the special needs of city dogs. Our new 11,000-square-foot facility at 1440 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago opens by 2022. There is a 4,000-square-foot indoor training area with rubber floors for dog comfort and safety. Our boarding hotel clients and day-school students have an outdoor play area. The climate-controlled, fully sprinkled facility is always secure and never overcrowded. All breeds, including German Shepherds and Toy Poodles, are welcome. Dog Training And Life Skills Learn ways to train your dog and teach him life skills. The class will be broken into smaller groups as you and your pet adapt to the training regimen. The class is divided into stages to minimize distractions while you and your pet master the techniques. The class could serve as a gentle introduction for private lesson students interested in group classes. It helps in learning focus, coming when called, ignoring distracting stimuli, walking on a loose leash, sitting, laying down, going to your place, and staying. This class has no prerequisites. Some students may be unsuitable for this setting. We try to train all dogs. Unfortunately, some dogs are not ready. Dogs that consistently bark around other dogs will not be allowed in this class. Dogs that are disruptive and continue to make noise may be excluded. If you're unsure whether your pet is prepared to join a group, consider a private class.
