Simon's Detailing | Clear Bra (PPF), Ceramic Coatings, & Window Tinting Nicole Kloiber was surprised to see Jim Lafeber pick her up in a huge white station wagon for their 1997 first date. Jim is a finance guy, and she would have expected him to roll up in a sports car. But looks can be deceptive. To Jim, the “station wagon,” a 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser, was his baby. He lavished it with care and attention. With a high level of maintenance, he loved it so much that it doubled up as their wedding car. They went on their honeymoon with the car and their Alaskan Malamute Simon, driving across the country with a tale that would last a lifetime.
