The name "Vedas" has deeper meaning. In Sanskrit (a key language of ancient India), the Vedas are a type of ancient religious text. The word Vedas refers to all available knowledge; it is not one book. Jeff sees living things as a "book" of knowledge. He meditates on the meaning of life while watering his plants.
