Indian License No. 20042554A, I'm a clinical psychologist licensed to provide individual and couple therapy in private practice. My experiences and training provide context to my therapeutic approach. We'll discuss how our past influences your current-day experience, and help you to strengthen your core character. Pepperdine University awarded me a doctoral in clinical psychology. This program is APA-accredited and known for providing in-depth training in clinical psychology. My dissertation dealt with positive psychology, a rapidly-growing field. My doctoral training included extensive clinical experience with patients, partners, and groups in clinics around Los Angeles. These include the Los Angeles Union Rescue Mission and Augustus F. Hawkins Mental Health Center. The flagship West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center. After deepening my studies in existential psychology and immersion in psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at The Wright Institute Los Angeles, my clinical training was informed. My current therapy approach was greatly influenced by this training. My postdoctoral fellowship at the Julian Center in Indianapolis was completed. I received training in psychoanalytic therapy, which provides long-term psychotherapy to people and groups. The focus is on recovery and trauma. Recently, I was adjunct faculty at the University of Indianapolis' clinical psychology doctoral program, where I taught seminars on positive psychology. Active memberships include the American Psychological Association and Indiana Psychological Association. I am also a member of the International Positive Psychology Association.
