Customer Feedback Summary: Do not rent from this company. Will not communicate, will not honor commitments, and will do everything in their power to get as much money our of their renters as they can. Update: Acting in good faith I paid the early termination fee a month before our move out after them threatening to refuse to acknowledge my notification of moving out if they didn't receive the funds.(2 months rent plus a $400 charge). They then sent me the move out checklist. I then requested that we do a walk through together since the house was in shambles when we moved in and they failed to provide any move in inspection or discuss/correct all the issues we notified them of. Evergrow notified me that if I wanted to do the move out inspection or meet with a manager then I will need to file a work order and then pay for any associated labor costs of having a manager come to the property. Rented a house from this company when I moved to Greenwood. It was a great house but when I toured it they had done very little to upkeep the home(dirty, paint chips, loose banisters, etc). When we moved in, no one did an inspection with us and the house was still filthy. My wife and I just asked that either it gets cleaned or when we move out we won’t be required to get it professionally cleaned. We had already signed the lease(in order to get the keys) so they said we were out of luck. The mailbox had rotted and fallen over before we moved in. It took them over 3 months to fix it. During that time we were supposedly mailed a notice to register for the sewage bill. Evergrow had sent us the wrong provider initially. We didn’t receive the notice due to our mailbox still not being replaced by the PM. They turned our water off. Evergrow was zero help when we called so I eventually figured it out and got it handled on my own and then just paid the small late fee. My next issue with them is that after my wife and I decided we wanted to terminate the lease early, I had found them a new tenant and offered to put them in contact but they said that doesn’t matter and I’d still owe 2 months rent per the lease for a termination fee. Spoke to a manager who just explained that it’s because of a contract with the owner. I was fine with this and said I would pay it when we do the final inspection and I receive my security deposit back. They refused and then threatened to refuse to acknowledge our termination of the lease unless they receive the money a month before we move out. I’ll be very surprised if the move out process goes smoothly. The only good reviews are from property owners. If you are renting and it’s run by Evergrow I would not recommend following through with it.
