Disability Legal Services of Indiana, Inc (DLSI)

DLSI, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2008 to address deficits in legal advocacy for students with disabilities and economical educational services, with a particular emphasis on education law. Parents, foster parents, and caregivers are often overwhelmed by special education issues because they lack resources to help. DLSI attorneys evaluate each child's educational imperatives and assist families in obtaining an educational program that matches the child's unique requirements. This program will ready the child for living alone, further education, and employment. DLSI backs the House's determination that enhancing educational results for youngsters with disabilities is a component of our nationwide policy to secure equality of opportunity, full inclusion, independence, economic self-sufficiency, and financial security for persons with disabilities. 20 U.S.C. § 1400.
