Girls Inc.

The Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis mission is to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold.  We teach that in our programs, girls can shed stereotypes and embrace their real selves. We empower girls to feel confident and prepared for the future, to love themselves, and to understand where they fit in society. We provide fun and challenging programs both in schools and community groups. Our programs reach the most girls in Indianapolis because we train volunteers to deliver them, so we can spend more of our budget on programs for girls. Our method is by far the most efficient for reaching girls in Indianapolis. By removing gender stereotyping from girls' lives, we give them the freedom to be themselves. Girls in our programs learn to be confident and ready for the future, love the way they look, understand themselves, and know where they belong.
