Tache Productions Photography & Video! Yesssssssssss...oh, this makes me laugh every time I read it. This is pretty much what I say while I’m doing photoshoots! I am particular about every detail from head to toe; I am particular about the way you pose, what you wear, your hair, your make up, etc. I do it all to get the most flattering angles and lighting for you. My ultimate goal is for you to look your absolute best, because these moments that we capture in your photoshoot are very special moments for you and for me. My name is Tache' and I am the creator of Tache' Productions and Tache' Productions Studio. I know you’re dying to hear how this new world of photography and videography started for me. Well, it goes like this: After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in video production, about 3 to 4 weeks later a friend asked me to do a photoshoot for them. Now at this point, I was only familiar with lighting, audio, and all the works for video because I had just spent 4 years learning that craft. So I purchased a camera for that reason only, had no idea how to use it other than for videos, so I shot all these photos that ended up looking great even in auto. I was so shocked, I had to learn what I was doing to be able to replicate those results because my friend was super happy with their photos. For about the first 2 years, I was doing everything in auto and was still producing amazing images. I was learning all the settings, reading blogs, watching youtube videos to see what all these settings did and how I could improve my photos. After about a year of doing photos, I started shadowing wedding photographers, I was trying to learn how they posed the couples, what lighting they were using, studying how they, as photographers, were working with their clients, etc. After about another year, people were starting to ask me if I did photos in general, asking if I could do family photos, kids, maternity, engagement, etc., and at first, I said yes because I was trying to learn and master my craft, which is what I still do today. Once the word got out that I was doing photoshoots for a very affordable price and it was actually really good, I started getting a lot of inquiries. The rest is history. Here we are on year 7, working full time for myself, providing for my family doing something I love, and have the luxury of being home with my children all day every day.
