Thiele, a manufacturer of the L.C. furnace, was founded by Wilhelm Oliver Thiele in 1883. Thiele furnaces heated many Central Indiana homes. Our government-owned manufacturing plant made military support during World War II. Still, Thiele started fitting furnaces from other makers, offering the excellent service Central Indianaans relied on. We commemorate local family ownership and successful installation and servicing.
