I contacted the company to inquire about mediation and was told to file for divorce and get a case number. The county clerk’s office gave me a file with everything about divorce proceedings, child custody details, and asset division. They said it was too much and instructed me to talk to my lawyer. When I went back to Mattox and Wilson, the receptionist made me feel unwelcome. I needed her to tell me which divorce forms. She was in front of her but gave me the wrong help. I am not sure if she had personal issues, but I felt let down. Never again will Mattox & Wilson represent me in any case. They showed utter disrespect and limited communication. Few minutes into my consultation, I was constantly interrupted and told only to listen. When I left, they didn’t apologize. They were disrespectful. Terrible! Called for legal help and told, “good luck finding someone to represent you,” AND then said “I’m on vacation I wouldn’t have time anyways” when he called back. There was nothing that would prevent me from being represented. DO NOT VISIT! Rude and unhelpful. Derrick was a professional through and through. Great job! Very professional and warm. The law knowledge was so beneficial.
