In 1991, Bryan left his job as a Cost Accountant at a giant coal mine to design software used for inventory management. He established McNee Solutions. Bryan's clientele expanded and most had unique programming needs. He concentrated on programming. However, the clients indicated that they needed computer hardware with his software. Bryan closed a contract manufacturing facility for RAM in a cleanroom using pick-and-place robots and a large retail computer store.
