What Clients Say About Jennifer Mills Peek, Attorney At Law
1. Client feedback: Disappointed, Should Get a Zero
Jennifer was named as the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in my children's case with CPS. Throughout the representation, she did not protect my kids' best interests. In effect, she did not fight for their safety or legal rights. In my family situation, the judge totally disregarded system and banked everything on unethical and unconstitutional procedures. However, I also noticed that she didn’t follow the rules when an ECO was issued across the state lines. Under KRS 620.060, an ECO must only be issued from the county where the child is physically present. However, in my case, the child was in Tennessee while the order was issued in Kentucky. It was illegal since it was not recognized by vital authorities like the Tennessee state that could have validated the order.
Secondly, she did nothing when the CPS refused me access to important records for my children’s case. These records are crucial as they could have helped me win the case and have my kids back. There are so many records that would confirm that the social workers lied that there was TPR for my other children. My first born is now 9 and I have her full custody. Another record on the order that the child protection unit filed was that I had said that I would harm my newborn son and this was a lie since I never uttered these words. That I had physically abused my newborn son when of the fake records. Clearly, this was a way of trying to prevent me access to my kids (PEEK, ).
