About New Orleans Dance Academy Founded in 1990, New Orleans Dance Academy is a dance studio offering Ballet, Flamenco Jazz Tap Hip Hop, and Tap classes in a non-competitive, friendly environment. The children's program is divided into several levels and ends each year with a spring show. Our adult classes are open to the general public. We cater to beginners and professionals in all classes. Dance Studio in Uptown New Orleans Our dance studio in the heart of Uptown New Orleans offers a variety of courses. Ballet is foremost among them, but we also provide other types of dancing like Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. Free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned dance studios are available to students. Placement Age groups are only suggestions. Dancers are placed based on their skill level, maturity, ability, and experience. Registering does not necessarily mean the listed age group.
