Owner/Asthetic Director Jeanne G. Pucot has a Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Dance from St. Mary's Dominican College, via Loyola University. She was a dancer in college at several ballets, including The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. She has been teaching Uptown New Orleans since 1983. She also choreographs Summer Show - The Little Lyric Theatre Productions, such as Oliver, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and also does shows like Good News, Into the Woods, and Babes in Arms on the faculty at COS. Faculty position. She has also been in shows at Le Petit Shows & Summer Lyric, such as Chicago, Cabaret, and West Side Story (from 1997-2001). She competed in regional and national competitions before college, winning numerous Gold Awards. In the national showbiz competition in 1965, Jeanne G. Pucot received a Gold Award and a Judge's Award for theatricality, emotional expression, and dance.danced with several ballet companies in college. Jeannette has several full-length dances on video that she has choreographed. Two of the dances were performed by RDC in concert at USM. Jeannette has choreographed pieces that are currently performed by Hattiesburg dance studios. Jeanne G. Pucot wrote her dissertation on the portrayal of emotion in women's dancing.
