About this business

Your teeth are your own, and they never take the day off. Teeth are important not only for the biting and chewing function but also for cosmetics At Access Orthodontics, we prioritize our patient relationships and strive for a delicate, empathetic approach that respects your needs. We aim not just for straight teeth but also for a gorgeous, healthy smile that will remain with you forever. We advocate for our patients to use the most informed decisions possible regarding their oral health. Braces are used to guide the teeth into a desired position in the mouth. Braces work by applying gentle, constant pressure on the teeth. They are usually attached to a fixed (cemented, bonded and/or cemented) or removable device. Braces can be made from metal, plastic, or ceramic. Braces were first made of materials that had low biocompatibility. Over time, they have improved. orts to make the braces less obvious have been made. Braces consisted of a band of metal around each tooth and a bracket that held the wire. Only the bracket is bonded to the front tooth. so the “tin smile” has dramatically decreased. Brackets have been produced in clear and certain colored shapes. Brackets can also be placed behind the teeth (lingual braces). today wires are less visible than the stainless steel brackets (brackets were the old ones) with some of these alloys being made of nickel, titanium copper, and cobalt. And some are heat activated. Unlike previous wires, which were often stiff and produced painful feeling when tightened, new wires were invented to be gentle, constant pressure to the teeth. This allows the movement of the teeth to be more comfortable with minimal pain.izable, fun, and attractive design. In the meanwhile, there is no news on the release of the new clear orthodontic wires, although they are under development and testing in different companies.
