In 1975, the Boston University Center for English Language & Orientation Programs (CELOP) began to provide international students with the knowledge they need to study in the U.S. All of CELOP's students have come from outside the United States, and thousands of them have gone on to earn degrees from U.S. schools. Professionals come to CELOP when they want to learn new skills or improve their existing ones. CELOP students are more than just language learners. We offer them a way to experience the Boston University campus and the city, to apply to U.S. colleges or universities, and to prepare for their future unless one of them is not right. This has helped CELOP students become more self-assured and more aware of the world around them.
