I have been using different approaches to treat clients since 2003. While at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Mass., I received my bodywork training. It introduced me to the Benjamin System of Muscular Therapy, a mix of deep tissue and sports massage that diagnoses and corrects body dysfunctions. I constantly improve my skills in treating injuries and promoting the healing process by combining the education I have gained from workshops and the chiropractors, physical therapists, and doctors I have collaborated with. Some of the treatment methods I use include cross frictioning (tissue debridement), myofascial release, muscle imbalances that may cause damage. and the activation of trigger points using neuromuscular therapy, as well as assisted and self-stretching programs. Also, I eventually plan to provide private Corrective Exercise Training, which corrects muscle balances that lead to injury. In the meantime, I have been a licensed massage therapist (LMT) since 2003, and a Corrective exercise specialist (CES) also hold insurance from the AMERICAN MASSAGE THERAPY ASSOCIATION (AMTA). However, I am currently accepting clients only for sports/orthopedic therapy. I do not offer general relaxation. Prior to my work in massage therapy, I spent seven years as a journalist and editor.
Reviews Summary
Craig's reviews show he's an outstanding therapist with an impressive ability to address clients' complaints. Countless reviewers shared valuable testimonials with others and expressed their gratitude for Craig's skilled sessions. Many credits went to his knowledge, ability to identify issues, and immediate relief effects, especially on different body parts. The reviews lauded Craig's style as "deep tissue," though not at all intense, that excluded the entire session for one hour. A significant proportion of the reviews noted the therapist's capability to tailor treatment to individual wants and experiences, making them feel confident from the beginning. More than half of the people who had seen other therapists felt their sessions were profoundly different from being on a spa date and knew that it was more of a healing process. Others felt more informational and didactic, such as the couple classes or as another review stated, most clients look "like they are learning about the human body, a history of pains and a commitment to recovery." These characteristics are why Craig surpasses other therapists people have seen in the past. Their pleas for others to call him because he has made some like them have shed a load of hope for a long-suffering condition and also saved them from what others are afraid it could happen: surgery if they do not have massages, show how critical he is for their recovery. His reviews by clients, according to the criteria, "the best out there." The sole downside is that some have indicated that the waitlist is too long. Clientele emphasize the product behind the healing touch, and it was a "wonderful experience" to savor his massages.
