Hale House

Hale House is a home to 56 individuals, offering private rooms and meals. Regardless of financial ability, this small residential community provides a wide range of activities and advantages for seniors who have chosen to live in Boston for many years. Our old-time Boston residents enjoy some of the best things the city has to offer. The activities include exercise mobility, yoga, and other events to keep the mind active. We deliver programs and services that set the standard for exceptional care for an older population. The residential program is a residential alternative to institutional care. It offers an environment for folks who no longer have a "home." We aim to improve all facets of life in later years through meaningful choices, intellectual stimulation, and respect for individual worth within the community. Our program provides support, encouragement, and friendship to help the elderly remain active. This Boston-based charity is non-sectarian. However, we have strong ties to Boston's First and Second Churches, the Legacy of Edward Everett Hale, and the rich historical past of our central location. We are proud of the cultural diversity within our region and believe it strengthens and enriches the organization. Our primary focus is on serving the elderly, but we also hope to be involved in all age groups. Our organization also tries to foster relationships between different generations.
