Liberty Tree - Sons of Liberty. The original site of the historical Liberty tree, the place of the Sons of Liberty gatherings, where rebellion against the King began. I wish I could see a tree standing here. When I looked for it on the map, it was missing, so I suggested Google, and they added it. It should be on your Freedom Trail tour. The City of Boston Public Schools, acting by its Director of Facilities Management, invites sealed bids to be submitted in the manner, and in compliance with the terms, of a contract for the project, legally required to be accomplished through competitive bidding, entitled “On-call Tree Maintenance at Various Boston Public Schools.” Three (3) contracts will be awarded by the City to the most responsible and eligible bidders. All laws, including Massachusetts General Law, c.30 B, s.5, as amended, applicable to this project and in compliance with the terms of the contract documents, apply.
