Offshoots, Inc. was founded to address the US's aesthetic-driven culture. This culture often involves excessive utilization of natural resources and fossil fuels. The firm's ambition is to establish a more sustainable urban and landscape sector that adds value to the natural environment. Offshoots combines landscape architecture, planning, and installation. It began as Kennen Landscape Architecture, founded by Kate Kennen in 2004. She later rebranded the company as Offshoots. Pleasant View Nurseries, Paxton, MA is Offshoots' horticultural installation partner. We use as much locally grown and sustainably produced nursery stock as possible. The nursery has been owned and managed by Hank Kennen for over 40 years, and Kate Kennen, the owner of Offshoots, was raised there.
