Mitchell School of Fine Arts

Elizabeth Byrd Mitchell established the institution in 1965. The Mitchell School of Fine Arts is a hub for fine arts education in Baltimore, aiming to boost artistic literacy in youths and adults. We shape the campus community's culture through visual arts and cultural language. Our mission is to provide a more enriching existence for everyone. In this course, we teach watercolor, pencil, oil painting, and pastels. Graphite, charcoal, and sanguine are also taught. In the end, the course welcomes the community and students of all ages. The plan is to guide our students to a more artistic worldview.
