DETROIT ARCHERS is the oldest archery club in Michigan. Much like Art Young's expected visit from Saxton Pope in 1924 when the two decided to become united in their purpose of working together, 1928 then saw the formal organization meeting with Fred Bear as our first president. Open shooting generally occurs from 1-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Dates and times are subject to change. Our full listing of Events and current Open Shooting Times can be viewed on the Calendar.
